Welcome to the Jigsaw Run, for benefit of the greater Autism community in central Wisconsin. |
 |
With the help of all of our sponsors, our willing participants and our fantastic volunteers, the third annual JigsawRun is in the books!
We had a chilly morning on May 7, 2011, but by racetime Mother Nature had become more agreeable. We had our largest overall event participation even though the chilly weather was threatening to keep a few people from running!
On behalf of the race committee and the Autism Impact Corporation, please accept a very sincere thank you from us and from the greater Autism community in central Wisconsin. |
Who won? How did I do? ~ 2011 Race results are HERE
We all owe a huge thank you to Steve and the team at Rapids Timing! |
~ 2012 Jigsaw Run registration opening soon! ~
The Autism Impact Corporation (AIC) was formed to raise funds and awareness in support of the greater autism community of central Wisconsin. With these funds, we hope to purchase supplies and services not provided by the already stretched budgets of government or educational programs. After our inaugural 2009 JigSawRun, we were able to triple the number of Project Lifesaver rigs. In 2010, with over 600 hundred runners/walkers, we were able to make a large donation to an inclusive playground that will accommodate children with all sorts of accessbile play opprotunities that aren't readily available today.

Thank you for your interest and support of the JigSawRun. See you at South Wood County Park, on May 5, 2011.
